The City of Playford together with NAWMA (Northern Adelaide Waste management Authority) provides services for your waste and recycling, including hard waste collections, transfer station, and kerbside bin services.
Residents have access to a three bin kerbside waste management system.
If you need a larger household rubbish bin or an additional recycling bin, these can be obtained for an annual fee which covers the cost of collection and disposal of the waste. You can obtain additional bins contacting NAWMA on 1800 111 004. They will provide up-to-date pricing and ensure delivery of your bins. Please note that contamination of the bin with inappropriate items may result in loss of the service.
The collection dates are clearly indicated on the calendar circulated by NAWMA. Refer to the calendar for the appropriate collection days. Please ensure that your bin is on the kerb (wheels closer to the house) by 7am on your day of collection.
A reminder that all wheelie bins should be returned to your property as soon as possible after emptying. If they are left on the kerbside, this creates a hazard for pedestrians and also increases the chance of the bins being vandalised or stolen.
