- Commemorating our ANZACs
ANZAC Day commemorations provides us with an opportunity to remember those who have fought and served in all wars; conflicts and peace operations, and remember the more than 100,000 who have given their lives in service.
The story of war encompasses more than those who fought and currently serve, it includes those who remain behind. The women and men whose wives and husbands enlist, the mothers and fathers who wonder at their son or daughter’s fate, the children who miss out on having their father, mother or family around. War touches many of us and continues to do so today.
Here is how we are marking ANZAC Day in 2022:
Commemorative events

Commemorating our military history throughout the year
In the lead up to ANZAC Day, Jeff Pinney from the National Military Vehicle Museum has an important reminder to share — lest we forget is not just remembering what has taken place, it's an ongoing commitment to do whatever we can to support the ADF community and the many functions it serves.
Like many of his fellow museum members, Jeff plays a pivotal role in services across Adelaide, and provides support and advice to Council for commemorations held at Smithfield Memorial Gardens.
Located at 10 Sturton Road, Edinburgh Parks, the National Military Vehicle Museum contains up to 60 military vehicles and is open to the public every Sunday from 10am till 4pm, and by appointment. Watch the video below or click here to find out more about the museum.
