Emma Werner, Events Coordinator, has been with the Stretton Centre from the beginning. She has seen the iconic Munno Para building come to life, transforming from an empty lot to the home of 88 local co-working businesses.
"Co-working is just one of the ways our team has provided our business community with support since officially opening in September 2015," said Emma.
This has included assistance with the preparation of government grants, navigating government funding and facilitating relevant training and development opportunities.
Emma has been involved in coordinating a range of events to support the local business community. From the Centre’s official opening, to an industry breakfast promoting supply chain opportunities with Australian Future Submarine design and build partner, Naval Group Australia and developing a 10-month National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Business Support Program to support local businesses navigate the NDIS.
However for Emma her highlight has been, “witnessing firsthand businesses, grow, diversify and take on more employees.”
