The Department for Environment and Water (DEW) has established a temporary domestic bulk water collection point in Elizabeth Downs

The State Government's Department for Environment and Water (DEW) has established a temporary domestic bulk water collection point at Elizabeth Downs.

The site, located adjacent to the Eastern Park Football Club on Adams Road, has been established by DEW to provide relief to people in northern Adelaide who are not on mains water and in need of emergency water supply. It comes as a number of temporary, emergency bulk water collection points have been established across the state in response to unprecedented dry conditions and unmet water carting demands.

The Elizabeth Downs site opened on Saturday 15 March 2025 with an Intermediate Bulk Contain (IBC) on a trailer to allow community members to fill smaller containers.

For information about opening times, costs and how to use the service, visit the DEW website.

Please note that this service is operated by the Department for Environment and Water and all queries can be directed to the Department via the link above or on 8204 1910.

Update as at 31 March, 2025:
